Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant Location: Irvine Department: Accounting
Key Responsibilities
Perform the following daily responsibilities including:
- Banking administration-initiate wires, set up new wire transfer templates, enter voided checks, enter manual checks, key interface w/bank for problems, primary bank contact.
- Cash management-Calculations of available cash for the release of checks, wire transfers or payroll.
- Short term loan management-Borrow as necessary, initiate repayment as available or when required
- Weekly rolling 13 week cash forecast.
Perform various month-end responsibilities including:
- Prepare Irvine Balance Sheet.
- Prepare RBU summary schedule, RBU journal entries, re-class inter RBU work.
- Balance inter-company A/P & A/R with Hong Kong and Zhuhai China subsidiaries, prepare in-transit journal entries.

- Account Analysis and Reconciliation.
- Journal Entry Preparation-group health insurance entries, payroll tax entries.
- KII schedule responsibility-3 month cash forecast, three fund planning, cash position report.
- General Ledger: Report and Account Maintenance
- Acct maint-Payroll & benefits, PTO, bonus, salary, Deposits, Flexpro, Group Health Ins accrual.
Other responsibilities
- Inter-company Account Reconciliation.
- Maintain Automatic/Recurring Journal Entries.
- Assist with Year End Audit Process.
- Assist with Annual Budgeting Process.
- Miscellaneous Special Projects/Analysis/Process Improvements.
- Quarterly, semi annual & annual schedules-cash, Payroll & benefit, fixed assets,

Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Irvine
Department: Accounting
The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing payroll for all US Locations of Kyocera Tycom Corp. The position has further responsibilities to prepare the payroll, payroll taxes, Paid Time Off and benefits deduction journal entries. In addition, this person may assist in various accounts payable and accounts receivable functions between payroll periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming data to prepare and transact multi-state payroll on a bi-weekly basis for 300+ employees.
- Update and maintain accurate system payroll data, establish authorization for income deductions, maintain direct deposit information, update local, state and federal tax withholding deductions.
- Review and proof Kronos data
- Ensures that all checks, tax filings, payroll reconciliation reports are accurate and timely.
- Prepares payroll allocations for those associates that work in multiple departments
- Manually enter operations bonuses monthly
- Download any changes in the HR system i.e. dept changes, benefits changes, pay changes and load information into the ADP and Kronos systems
- Create 401K information worksheet and upload data into principal website
- Prepare month end HE data- hours worked, PTO hours taken and run reports
- Prepare request for wire to Conexis for Flexpro information
- Coordinate year-end closing process and reporting for W-2's.
- Responsible for balancing payroll runs and researching, analyzing and resolving problems or questions presented by associates or senior leadership using knowledge of entire payroll functions.
- Reviews, audits and reconciles transactions for completeness, accuracy and proper authorizations.
- Manage manual or out-of-cycle payments, including terminations, retro pay, and paid time off.
- Prepared payroll related journal entries.
- Monitor all payroll practices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Recommend and participate in the development of new payroll policies and procedures.
Experience:
2 - 3 years payroll experience. Requires a high school diploma.
Person is needed to run dual entry process for ADP and Ceridian during the implementation of Ceridian.

Job Title: Drafter

The Draftsperson/Document Control is responsible for the documentation of products for manufacturability. Will create tool documentation packages and is the liaison between sales and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specifications & SPC fields for existing and new products to manufacturing.
- Develop 2-D drawings and 3-D modeling.
- Assist engineers with elements or tasks related to larger more complex projects.
- Ensure accuracy of specifications, document and configuration control.
- Utilize existing specification systems and methods to meet production requirements.
- Establish, maintain, and report key indicators as established for responsible routine tasks.
- Generate layouts or drawings for products and materials, as requested and approved.

Job Title: Fluting Set-up Level II
Location: Irvine
Department: Micro Industrial Tools
The Fluting set-up level II is responsible for setting up fluting machines to
particular specification, pointing samples for inspection, and make adjustments
to the machine to produce acceptable quality tools. The set-up person works with
the other associates in the cell to coordinate product flow through the cell.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all training programs needed to perform the duties of a level II fluting set-up associate.
- Maintain a CPK level of no less than 1.15 as measured by the AOI system.
- Maintain first pass yields of 90% on product produced in the cell; scrap less then 0.5% per set-up.
- Complete at least 2 - 3 set-ups per day (standard or specials).
- Continuously reduce cycle time and increase quality with the direction of the cell supervisor.
- Enter Fluting Senior set-up level within 2 years of starting the level 2 position.
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned by cell leader.
Qualifications:
- Develop fluting and point geometry trouble shooting abilities on most machine sets.
- Ability to set-up micro tools and some special products.
- Demonstrate a personal gage repeatability and reproducibility of < 30% for all fluting characteristics using ToolMaker microscope and < 25% using Web Taper.
- Understand how to control Cp and Cpk indexes.
- Computer skills and the ability to operate Tycom SPC software to it's full extent.
- Ability to review quality information and continuously make recommendations to the engineering team and cell supervisors.
- Actively participate in OFI root cause discussion and solutions.
- Mechanically inclined and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Understands components of cost and quality.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Understands equipment capabilities and versatility.

The Hans Senior Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a specially designed machine used for grinding the final diameter pass of cutting tools. Part of the job is to inspect the blanks being produced using specific tools and equipment for measuring, adjusting the machine to maintain the diameter to a particular specification and must collect all data required for the SPC system following the Tycom work instructions. A senior operator will need to assist the cell supervisor in the training of lower level associates.
